Terms of Service

1. The service

AssessFit provides online psychometric and skills assessments, proctoring, scoring, and reporting tools ("Service") to business customers ("Employers") who invite job candidates to complete assessments.

2. Employer responsibilities

• Use assessment results as one input among several in hiring decisions, reviewed by a human. AssessFit scores are decision support, not decisions.
• Comply with employment and anti-discrimination law in your jurisdiction, including any notice or consent duties toward candidates (e.g. automated-decision notices).
• Invite only genuine candidates and keep account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity in your workspace.
• Configure camera proctoring and data retention consistent with local law.

3. Candidate terms

• Complete assessments yourself, without unauthorized assistance or tools.
• Session monitoring (and camera snapshots, where enabled) occurs only after your explicit consent on the pre-test screen.
• You may download or erase your data at any time from your assessment page.

4. Billing

Paid plans and invitation credits are billed in USD via PayPal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Unused monthly allowances do not roll over unless your plan says otherwise.

5. Intellectual property

Test content, item banks, algorithms, and reports are AssessFit's intellectual property. Employers receive a license to use reports internally for recruitment. Copying, publishing, or reverse-engineering test content is prohibited — it also destroys test validity for everyone.

6. Acceptable use

No attempts to extract answer keys, probe other customers' data, overload the service, or use it to discriminate unlawfully. We may suspend accounts that endanger test security or other users.

7. Warranty & liability

The Service is provided "as is". Psychometric scores are probabilistic estimates with known error bands — we warrant our methodology documentation, not individual hiring outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may cancel anytime; data is exportable before closure and deleted on your retention schedule. We may terminate for material breach with 30 days' notice (immediately for security abuse).
