Candidate Privacy & AI Disclosure
Plain-language notice for people taking an AssessFit assessment · Last updated: July 22, 2026
What is automated (AI) here?
- Scoring: your answers are scored against validated keys; adaptive tests pick your next questions based on your performance so far.
- Percentiles: your scores are compared to other candidates for similar roles.
- Integrity monitoring: signals like leaving the test tab, exiting fullscreen, paste attempts, response speed, a second monitor, and (only with your consent) webcam snapshots are combined into an integrity score. Flags are indicators for human review, not accusations.
What is NOT automated
AssessFit never rejects, ranks-out, or hires anyone automatically. The employer's recruiters see your scores, percentiles, and any integrity flags, and they make all decisions. If you believe a flag is wrong (e.g. a connection drop looked like a tab switch), tell the employer — the report shows them exactly what happened and when.
Accessibility & accommodations
- The assessment is fully keyboard-operable (press 1–4 or A–D to answer, Enter to continue) and screen-reader friendly.
- Employers can grant 1.5× extra time as an accommodation — ask the company that invited you before starting.
- You can take the test in the interface language of your choice.
Your controls
- Consent first: nothing is monitored until you read the rules and give explicit consent; camera proctoring has its own separate consent.
- Download: "Download my data" on your assessment page gives you a complete machine-readable copy — answers, scores, events, snapshots.
- Erase: "Delete my data" permanently removes your responses, scores, and snapshots and anonymizes your record, immediately and without asking anyone.
- Automatic expiry: even if you do nothing, your data is anonymized on the employer's retention schedule and camera snapshots are purged earlier.
Bias & fairness testing
Test items are screened for cultural loading before release, and live statistics (difficulty, response patterns) are monitored so unfair items get rotated out. Our methodology follows the AERA/APA/NCME Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing and the SIOP Principles; adverse-impact summaries are available to employers on request.
